Hi, I’m ROMA.

I’m a UK-based visual artist working in the spaces of animation and illustration, currently exploring projects that engage in history, education, and children’s literature.

After years of creating primarily branded content, I am currently on a journey to bring some of my own ideas to the forefront.

About

Roma Blay is an artist and animator with a love for creating vibrant visual stories and a BA in Animation. Since diving into freelancing last year, she engages with community projects—teaming up with Sustainable Conservation Trust, crafting quirky 3D tactile concepts with the Maker's Guild, and recently began a social media journey with the Play Office at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.

Fresh off illustrating a children’s book for braille artist Clarke 'Mr Dot' Reynolds, Roma has now landed a publishing deal to write and illustrate her own book, set to delight kids (and maybe a few history-loving grown ups) later this year.
